Can you get more specific on dress code?

For ladies we encourage colorful spring tones, long dresses, flowy silhouettes, seasonal textures, and expressive accessories. For gentlemen, light suits and ties are preferred. When in doubt, its better to be overdressed than underdressed. Since much of the wedding is outdoors, consider shoes suitable for walking on grass. Heal covers will be provided upon arrival.

Where should I stay?

We provided a discount code to book at any Libere Hotel in Madrid and the URSO Hotel, find more info on the WHERE TO STAY page. We recommend booking early. Feel free to check out Airbnb and VRBO for additional options. We recommend staying near the center for the best experience.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

We provide transportation to and from the venue at scheduled times, TBD. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at a central location. Please note, if you prefer to rideshare, it's difficult to find Ubers in Torrelodones for the return trip. Taxis are available at (913 712 131)

Should I rent a car?

Madrid is a very walkable city with excellent public transport. The metro is easy to navigate with tickets costing about 3 euros one way. If you prefer to rent a car, parking is limited to underground parking decks that tend to fill up quickly. Uber and Cabify are the two main ride-sharing apps.

What will the weather be like?

May is a beautiful time of year in Spain. In Madrid, temperatures will be mild during the day in the high 60's. In the evening it will cool off to the mid-50's. The wedding venue is at a higher altitude so will likely be a bit colder. Coat check will be on site for your convenience.
